AI, Considered Carefully.
For the Legal Practice.

We work alongside managing partners and senior associates to identify where AI drafting and summarisation can assist — without displacing human judgement, compromising privilege, or straying outside the Bar Council's guidance.

Our Engagements

Three Measured Ways We Work With You

Each engagement is scoped to fit where your firm stands today. We do not recommend more than the practice needs, and we do not move faster than your team is comfortable with.

Practice Workflow Review

§ 1.0

Practice Workflow Review

We read a sample of your firm's intake forms, retainer letters and standard advice templates. After sitting with your managing partner and a senior associate, we deliver a written brief identifying where AI drafting and summarisation might assist — for litigation bundles, corporate due diligence, and conveyancing checklists.

  • Privilege-aware deliverable
  • Aligned with Bar Council circulars
  • Written brief with actionable findings

Drafting Companion Setup

§ 2.0

Drafting Companion Setup

A measured deployment of an AI drafting assist for one practice area. The system reads only documents you whitelist, drafts first-pass summaries and bundles for human review, and never sends correspondence on behalf of a fee earner. Includes a four-week supervised pilot and a privilege-aware usage policy.

  • DMS read-only integration
  • Four-week supervised pilot
  • Written privilege-aware usage policy

Practice Stewardship Retainer

§ 3.0

Practice Stewardship Retainer

A monthly advisory engagement for firms already using AI assists. We sample outputs, audit privilege boundaries, and write a brief for your management committee. Covers alignment with the Legal Profession Act, PDPA implications, and a yearly written reflection for your AGM. Intentionally light-touch.

  • Monthly output sampling and audit
  • Legal Profession Act & PDPA alignment
  • Yearly AGM-ready written reflection

Why Vxieuxamis

What Sets This Advisory Apart

The question is not whether AI will touch legal practice — it already has. The question is whether the approach is careful enough for your clients, your obligations, and your reputation.

Privilege Comes First

Every recommendation we make is tested against legal professional privilege. We will not suggest a tool or workflow that creates a risk of inadvertent waiver or client data exposure.

Bar Council Alignment

Our advice is framed around the Bar Council's current circulars on technology and professional conduct. We read the same documents your practice committee reads.

Fee Earner Buy-In

We sit with the people who will use these tools, not just the partners who approve them. The pilot involves real fee earners and real files, so adoption is considered from the start.

Written Deliverables

You receive a written brief, not a slide deck. Our findings are expressed in the language your practice recognises — clear clauses, sub-clauses, and considered recommendations.

PDPA-Aware Approach

Client data handling is addressed in every engagement. We map data flows, identify where consent is required, and align the setup with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act obligations.

Measured Pace

We do not push for rapid deployment. A legal practice has obligations to clients that extend beyond efficiency. We move at the pace the practice can absorb responsibly.

The first step is a workflow review — a focused, written assessment that gives you a clear picture of the opportunities and the limits. There is no obligation to proceed further.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear often from managing partners and practice managers in Malaysian firms.

How do you protect legal professional privilege during the engagement?
We begin every engagement with a privilege mapping exercise. We identify which documents are subject to LPP, where the risk of inadvertent disclosure could arise in an AI workflow, and what controls are needed. Our written brief includes specific recommendations on document whitelisting and access controls before any tool is touched.
Are your recommendations in line with the Malaysian Bar Council's current circulars?
Yes. We review the Bar Council's circulars on technology and professional conduct as part of our standard process. Every recommendation we make is set against that framework. Where the Bar Council's guidance is pending or unclear, we note this explicitly in our written deliverable and recommend a conservative approach.
How long does a Practice Workflow Review typically take?
For a firm of four to ten fee earners, the review typically takes three to four weeks. We schedule two working sessions with the managing partner and a senior associate, review a sample of your documents in a controlled setting, and deliver the written brief within fourteen days of the final session.
What does the Drafting Companion Setup involve for fee earners?
Two fee earners participate in a four-week supervised pilot. They use the system on real matters, with us observing outputs and flagging any concerns. The system never sends correspondence — it only drafts first-pass summaries and bundles for human review. At the end of the pilot, we write a usage policy and brief your management committee on the findings.
How does PDPA apply to client data used in AI systems?
This is one of the more important questions in legal AI at present. Where client personal data is processed by an AI system — even for summarisation — PDPA obligations attach to the data user. We review consent arrangements, data processor agreements, and retention settings as part of every deployment engagement.
We already use an AI tool. Can you advise on what we have now?
Yes — the Practice Stewardship Retainer is designed precisely for this. We sample your current AI outputs, audit privilege boundaries, and write a brief for your management committee on what is working well and what warrants closer attention. Many firms find this useful as an ongoing governance measure.
